The Presence
The Power Of God
The Presence
of God is what you and I must seek after all the time. Then and only
then will the Power of God manifest in your life.
We must seek after the Person
of God, the Presence of God which is the Glory of God.
In turn this Presence,
this Glory will produce the Power of God in your life.
"But ye shall receive
P O W E R, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be
witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Acts 1:8 KJV
When
you receive the Son of the living God of Israel as your Lord and your Saviour,
you receive the Person, the Presence of Jesus Christ, God's
Son in your life. The result is the eternal salvation of your soul.
This Person, this
Presence
in your life cannot help but to produce heavenly results, and the fruit
of this result, the result of the Presence of God in your life is
the Power of God.
However God does not give
us this Power so that we can attract attention to ourselves nor
so that we can entertain others with it nor so that we can feel better
or in a higher position than others.
He gives us His
Presence which in turn produces His Power in our lives so
that we can be of service in His Glorious Kingdom and defeat the devil
in our lives and the lives of others. You must be a yielded vessel at all
times and live exclusively for the Lord under His Presence.
Psalms 91
We could never have His
Power without the Glory of God in our lives. This Power of God
can and will destroy us if the Presence of God is not present in our lives.
God's Presence is really the Glory of God in our lives and it is given
to all His children as long as they are faithful.
This Presence, this
Glory
can be removed from your life and the result is complete destruction. In
order for us to understand the Power of God, we need to understand
the difference between the Glory of God which is His Presence
and which is NOT the same as God's Power which is
His
Anointing.
God's Glory is the
Presence
of God and the Anointing of God in your life is the result of
having God's Power being poured out unto your life.
The Presence of God is not
the same as God's Anointing. When you receive Jesus Christ as Lord and
Saviour, you welcome, you accept the Presence of God in your life. The
Power of God which is His Anointing comes only after the Presence of God
is manifested in your life.
The Power of God is the baptism
of His Holy Spirit which in turn manifests with wonderful Gifts given to
us by His Spirit. They are known to us as the Gifts of the Holy Spirit
and this is truly God's Anointing in your life.
Without the Glory of God
in our lives, without The Presence of God in our lives, we will never have
the Power of God manifested in our lives so that we can help, set free
and minister to others.
The Power of God in your
life is the manifestation of His Anointing Power in your life. You must
be Anointed of God in order to walk in This Power.
Today I want to encourage
you to seek God in prayer, read His Word, spend time in His Presence. His
will for your life is to Anoint you with His Power so that His work can
carry on.
But ye shall
receive P O W E R, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:8
KJV
For the Body
of Christ to fully come to walk under the Presence and Glory of God, we
need to understand the Spirit of God, our spirit bodies and
discern the times that we are living in NOW.
* Article "Hope
Of Glory"
The Power of God is the result of the Glory
of God. The Power of God is the fruit of God's Presence so this leaves
us to understand that God's Presence and God 's Power are not the same.
God's Power, God's anointing as we call it, proceeds
forth out of God's Presence. The Presence of God descends and after the
Glory of God descends, it produces Power.
The Power of God deals with
His acts. The Presence of God deals with His ways. The Power of God deals
with His manifestations. The Presence of God deals with His revelations.
The Power of God deals with
what He does. The Presence of God deals with who He is. When I say the
Presence of God. I also mean the Glory of God. I also mean the person of
God. I also mean the ways of God.
The Presence of God will
change your heart which is your spirit or the Most Holy place in your body.
While the Power of God will only affect your body or the outer court
if you will.
So the Presence of God
affects your inner man which is the spirit, while the Power of God
affects your outer man which is your body.
When the scriptures talk
about the Power of God, people assume that it is referring
to the Presence of God. This needs to be clarify in our understanding
in order to comprehend who God is and understand the difference between
the Power of God and the Presence of God.
For example. . .
Israel saw the Power of
God but this didn't change Israel's attitude about God, they still
wanted to go back to Egypt and in fact they rebelled against God and in
fact worshiped an animal made of gold.
After they saw God's Power,
it didn't do a thing to their hearts and they still went ahead and rebelled.
Saul, experienced the Power of God and rebelled against God by offering
sacrifice in the temple stepping out of his office, his anointing. He didn't
wait for Samuel to perform the sacrifice.
There is a big difference
between experiencing the Presence of God and feeling, seeing the
Power
of God.
The Power of God will
change your circumstances, will affect your body, will even bring healing
to your body. But it will not necessarily change your heart it will not
touch your spirit.
The Presence of God
will change your heart, your spirit and will allow the Glory of God
to invade your life.
The Presence of God
is what you and I must seek after all the time then and only then will
the Power of God manifest in your life. We must seek after the Person of
God which is the Presence of God and will bring the Glory of God into your
life.
"As the hart
panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God."
Psalms 42: 1 KJV
"Deep calleth
unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows
are gone over me." Psalm 42: 7 KJV
Deep calls unto deep. This is
talking about the spirit of man
seeking God, seeking the
Presence of God, seeking the Glory of God.
